Relationhsip Between Attitudes Toward, Interest and Efficacy in Using Internets and Course Grades in Composition Writing

The aim of the study was to assess the relationship between students’ attitudes towards, interest and efficacy in using the Internet and course grades in composition writing. One hundred and fourteen students participated in the study. Their course grade in composition were between 59-86 for rencana, (mean of 72.56 and SD= 6.79); 60-89 for opinio (mean of 73.79 and SD= 6.75);, and 55-89 for discussion (mean of 72.71 and SD= 7.77). Their attitudes towards using the Internet was 25-75 (mean of 53.82, SD = 10.20. Their interest in using internet was 15-40 (M=28.1, SD. = 5.63. Their efficacy in using internet was 20-60 (M=44.1, SD. = 7.56. The study showed there were significant relationships between attitudes toward using the Internet and course grade in composition writing (r=.383), interest in using the internet and course grade in composition writing (r=.295), and their efficacy and course grade in composition writing (r=.322)
